St. Louis Community College Placement Test (all applicants)

The BESt Pharmacy Summer Institute partners with St. Louis Community College to provide college credit for math courses taught during the program.  These courses are conducted on the campus of St. Louis College of Pharmacy as part of the BESt program curriculum.  All BESt applicants (including BESt I, II, III, IV) are required to take the Accuplacer Placement Test and qualify for placement into the appropriate math course.

St. Louis Community College uses an untimed, computerized placement test to evaluate students’ academic skills and place them into appropriate courses. Results of the test are provided immediately following the completion of the test and will indicate the math course for which the student is eligible.  Applicants must qualify for math courses that will be taught for BESt III and BESt IV students during the program.

St. Louis Community College may waive the mathematics portion of the placement test if students provide documentation of one of the following:

  • An ACT math score of 26 or above.

Students may retake the placement test as many times as they would like before the application deadline of April 3, 2019.

Placement tests can be taken at the area St. Louis Community College locations including Forest Park, Florissant Valley, Meramec, Wildwood or South County.  Applicants are only required to complete the math portion of the Accuplacer test.  Testing hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am-5:30pm and Friday 9am-Noon.
